Test Corrections
Read time: 2 minutesLast updated: September 23rd, 2024
Test corrections are important to reinforce learning when self-studying. Looking at the right answer and convincing yourself that you know why it's right is easy. Proving that you know why the right answer is right is hard. In session, I'm going to ask you to do the latter. Doing test corrections on your own time will make the studying process more efficient.
Here's an Example
1. I got question #1 wrong. I said answer choice B. There's no question being asked, so I'm looking at the answer choices. I see commas are changing. So I need a comma usage rule, or I can't use a comma at all. A would make “Norman Woodland and Bernard Silver” extra information which might be okay, so I'll leave it alone. B and D don't follow any of the comma usage rules. C would give me the option to not use a comma. So I need to decide whether that bit is extra information. And no, it's not extra information because it's introducing the names of the two people this essay is about.
When you're done, make sure to send them to me before the session.
